Our safaris utilize standard hotel lodges and permanent tented camps. The lodges are located in the towns of Arusha and Karatu. The permanent tented camp is located in northwest Serengeti, near the Grumeti River, a great spot for migration viewing.
All accommodations during the safari are included in your booking, however accommodations before and after the safari are excluded. We can book extra nights for you in Arusha (or Moshi) if necessary.
Standard Hotel Lodges
Our standard hotel lodges feature nice, clean rooms with double beds and private bathrooms with hot showers. Linens are included as well as mosquito netting. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in an indoor communal dining hall.

The primary lodge our guests use on our safaris are The Milimani Lodge, Country Lodge, and Farm of Dreams.
The Milimani Lodge is a boutique lodge situated in Arusha – a major international city and the safari capital of northern Tanzania. The lodge is comprised of 12 rooms, a business center, and a rooftop terrace with clear views of Mount Meru.
Country Lodge is located in the quaint town of Karatu, which is the center of northern Tanzania’s green belt district and farming community, midway between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is comprised of 11 cottages with 22 rooms on five acres surrounded by coffee farms and the forests of Ngorongoro.
Farm of Dreams Lodge is also in Karatu, on the lower slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. This beautifully appointed property has 48 cottages with thatched roofs, private balconies, and en-suite bathrooms. A spendid restaurant, lounge bar and swimming pool make this a wonderful place to eat, drink and relax .
Permanent Tented Camps
Permanent tented camps are spacious, canvas tents set on a solid base. The primary permanent tented camps our guests visit during a safari are Serengeti Heritage Camp, Angani Serengeti Camp, Mbugani Tented Camp, Serengeti Pure Tented Camp, Serengeti Sound of Silence Tented Resort and Thorn Tree Camp.
All are quiet, comfortable settings with private bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Each tent is furnished with two beds, tables and chairs, linens, mosquito netting and a covered porch, with electricity and wifi. Meals are served in a dining tent.
